This project, commissioned by Pokeren.nl, involves multiple stakeholders in its design. Party 1, Pokeren.nl, and Party 2, GTO Wizard, aim to collaborate on the playing cards for Pokeren.nl’s poker tournaments. Additionally, these cards will be marketed for sale later on.

What i've done
In designing playing cards, there are strict rules to consider. Margins and bleed must be accounted for. Logos and symbols should be legible at the top and bottom. Strict symmetry is also a critical requirement.
The Process
The process primarily involved gathering inspiration and then experimenting with numerous possibilities. Whether it’s shapes, typography, or colors and gradients, the options are vast. Therefore, it’s wise to create a case with client preferences (which I cannot share here for privacy reasons). Afterward, as a designer, you’ll know the extent of your creative freedom, leading to the creation of various versions and often multiple strong designs. Typically, projects like this will require many artboards and perhaps even multiple files.
