I’m Wessel van den Berg, a graphic designer and front-end developer with a passion for creating experiences where visual design and usability go hand in hand. With nearly a decade of experience, I’ve grown into a designer who thinks in flows, not just pixels.

From branding to interaction design, and from wireframe to working product, I focus on clarity, logic and simplicity. Because good design isn’t just how it looks, but how naturally it works.

I reside in the charming town of Wijchen where i’m constantly on the lookout for innovation and new trends in the design and tech world, always eager to incorporate them into my work.

In the symphony of my life, music is the heartbeat. My eclectic love for music spans the raw energy of rock, the gritty soul of grunge, the rhythmic flow of hip-hop, and the pulsating beats of EDM. Each genre resonates with a different chord of my persona, harmonizing to create a soundtrack that fuels my creativity. Whether it’s the rebellious anthems of rock that ignite my bold designs, or the deep bass of EDM that drives my most innovative work, music is the muse behind my artistry. As a fervent sports fan, my zeal for competition extends beyond the design arena. Wireframing and site structuring are key for designing functional, user-friendly products that are visually appealing and meet business goals.

User testing evaluates designs by gathering feedback from real users to improve usability and user experience.

Designing and develop

Design dominates the process, involving extensive iteration to explore options, followed by development and the website’s actual creation.

In the realm of graphic design, AI is often seen as a contender, but I view it as a collaborator. It’s not about AI replacing the designer; it’s about designers harnessing AI as a tool to enhance our creativity and efficiency. As we stand on the brink of a new era, it’s crucial to embrace AI, learn its language, and guide its potential to complement our human ingenuity. By partnering with AI, we can push the boundaries of what’s possible in design, opening doors to uncharted creative territories.

Leonardo AI is an expansive artificial intelligence-powered image generator, offering a wide array of customization options for a tailored experience.

Open AI

OpenAi is the company behind the well-known chatbot CHatGPT, but is also the company behind Dall-e. Which is an excellent image generator, I mainly use it for photorealistic images.

Relume

Relume AI is a tool designed to streamline the website creation process. It utilizes artificial intelligence to help users design and build websites more efficiently.

Midjourney

Midjourney is a generative artificial intelligence program that creates images from textual descriptions, similar to other AI tools like OpenAI’s DALL-E and Stability AI’s Stable Diffusion.
